# Your Card

> What the card is, and where it works.

# Your card

A Havn card is a **virtual prepaid card** on the Visa® or Mastercard® network. You get a card number, an expiry date and a security code — everything a checkout asks for.

There is no plastic. It is made for online payments.

## Where it works

<Warning>
  Cards are issued in USD for **US merchants**. A store outside the United
  States, or one that charges in another currency, will usually decline it.
  Check before you buy a card for a specific purchase.

## Billing address

Some checkouts ask for a billing address or ZIP code. One is provided with your card details — use exactly that. An address you invent will fail the check and the payment will be declined.

## Good to know

* **One load per card.** Not reloadable. Order what you plan to spend.
* **Balance updates are not instant.** After a purchase, the remaining balance can take a few minutes to refresh, and there is a limit on how often it can be checked.
* **Your details stay with your account.** They are fetched fresh each time you open the card, never stored on your device.
